I had the pleasure of teaming up with the Barn Raise organization to help out a local non-profit. When they came to us, all they had was the underlying business idea which was to teach young people in juvenile detention to cook and manage a restaurant, so they would have real world skills when they were released.
We came up with an overall brand, logo, packaging, and website concept which we presented to them at the end of the project.
